As part of the World Orthopaedic Month 2026 observance, the Department of Orthopaedics, PPG College of Physiotherapy, organized a Physio 360 Webinar Series featuring a free online webinar on “Osteoarthritis 2.0: When Human Hand Meets Robot Rehabilitation – Exploring the Future of Technology-Enhanced Physiotherapy.”
The webinar focused on contemporary perspectives on osteoarthritis and the evolving role of robotics and technology-enhanced rehabilitation in physiotherapy. Key areas included the continuing impact of osteoarthritis, integration of robotics across the rehabilitation continuum, current evidence and clinical implications, the role of physiotherapists in technology-enabled rehabilitation, and equitable access to advanced rehabilitation technologies.
The webinar aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of emerging rehabilitation technologies and encourage a forward-looking approach to the integration of robotics and innovation in physiotherapy practice.
